PolyX is a series of 2D works that only form a unit through division. It examines the dissolution of the individual into the whole.
I work with logic and intuition. As media I use mainly oil, acrylic and household paint as well as a printing technique and collagen.
I start with about one square meter sized canvases and apply paint layer by layer. In between, I cut the canvases into smaller sizes and stretch them on stretcher bars. At the end I mix and arrange the dismembered canvases into new formations.
