My works deals with the matrix, alienation and hybridization through (visual) syntaxes, which suggest jointly the presence and the virtual reading of the art work.
The installation "Out of the Black – 02" is part of a wide range of installations spatially designed on the idea of the contrasting relationship between biomorphic and geometric elements. The elements of fur and fluff that self-project on the surface of the mirror describe an erosion of the system, an interference, a removal of the archetype. If the matrix effect alludes to the technological world, dominated by technology, the elements of fur and the fragility of the fluff send the thought to the beginnings of the world.
The installation can be regarded as a refuge of personal / collective escape: a form of escape from everyday reality, a hybrid space where they can coexist things, forms, different materials by their nature, but also with possible interconnections of the contemporary collective imaginary. The residual juxtaposition of different environments – natural, technological, virtual, urban architectures – can be regarded as alienated expressions of fragments belonging to a larger system.
My imagination, marked by the urban experience, is primarily dominated by architecture and evoked mainly by systemic and obsessively redundant dispositions, but the organic elements are also present and can be understood as necessary and indispensable forms to maintain, at least illusory, a sustainability. of the "system".
